Jin-Wei WANG

Broadly, my research interests are energy and carbon management, clean technology foresight and assessment, environmental change and studies. I proudly have enjoyed challenging research training from my highly respected professors: Prof. Yi-Ming Wei (China), Prof. Ioan Nistor (Canada), and Prof. Tad Murty (Canada).

I am a self-motivated and proactive person by nature. In my daily research, I enjoy learning new skills and sharing them with people. I am also a curious person with a passion for meeting people and learning from them. Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, and playing experiments getting my hands dirty. When at home, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Prior to joining the Beijing Institute of Technology, I spent several years as a policy researcher and consulting energy engineer with CHINA ENERGY INVESTMENT (CHN ENERGY), working on some low-carbon technology engineering management projects.
